Swapping a GMT bezel for an Explorer bezel

Is it possible to swap a GMT Pepsi, Coke, or Black Beauty bezel for a satin steel Explorer bezel? They look to be around the same size from appearance.

Thanks

IMO - no. The GMT bezel rotates the Explorer bezel is fixed?

I've never seen it done, so I'll guess "no".

The Exp-2 and GMT-2 case are the same so in theory it should be possible. There is a metal ring underneath the bezel that retains the crystal and that is what the bezel attaches to. A swap of the bezels might require this ring to be changed as well as it is probably different.

Good question, I have thought of doing this in the past.

That would be very interesting! It would add a whole lot of customization to the Ex II! Just think of all the GMT stuff that could be swapped!

It would certainly make for an odd bird.
