Kia ora everyone,
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone here on TRF who took the time to think about my mother, to pray for her and to send her positive energy. I cannot express how much it meant to me. The amount of support and the sincerity of the messages was overwhelming. For this, I owe you all a debt of gratitude, thank you. The operation lasted just over 3 hours and thanks to your prayers and positive energy, she is doing fine. I just finished talking to her and she told me that the moment she entered the operating room, she felt at peace and she knew it would be OK. So, again, thank you TRF. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You know, call it Chi, Karma, the power of prayer, whatever the heck you want, but I truly believe in the power of human ... well... presence.... I guess that's a topic for a whole other thread so again I'll just say that I'm glad everything went well Rye, and your mom will be up and around in no time!

Thanks everyone. I am sooo happy everything went well. The doctors did a great job. My mother is sounding happier than she has in ages. Even though she didn't show it, I know that she was very worried herself. She told me to tell all of you, thank you from the bottom of her heart and that she will be praying for each and every one of you. God bless you all.
