Circumstances

Due to circumstances beyond my control I was forced to return the Chicago Pen Show today. Once I got there a voice told me "Leo return to Susan Wirth booth and buy a Parker Sonnet with a Medium Italic nib hand ground". And of course I had to satisfy this impulse or loose control of my sanity.....
It is a sonnet which was made in the early 1990's and is a whole different direction for me since I really like extra fine nibs the best. But I'll give it a go and where it takes me. Upon using it I fell in love with way the ink flowed on the paper!!!

You know you're in trouble when you start hearing voices, Leo. Seriously, congrats. You need to get some pics up of all these new acquisitions.

Thanks, Leo, you're not leaving any merchandise left for the rest of us to buy! (Translation: You lucky dog! You may have lost your sanity but it's a small price to pay to inhabit pen heaven.) Enjoy your new acquisitions!

Welcome to the club Leo, The world of hand customised fountain nibs is indeed one of the most satisfying around. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the pen!

Sounds like Leo has gained his sanity to me. But that's just me.

Sanity is relative you know...!

Many congratulations Leo, you seem to have quickly acquired a stunning collection of fountain pens, enjoy them in the very best of health.

I wonder if this should be our pen forum anthem.
