New Member: < 3 Months to 1st Rolex!
May 20th! Well, maybe the 19th, as that is when I'll be in Nassau. I'm making it my 30th birthday present to myself, and I joined the forum to learn more about them.
I'm thinking, though, that I may actually not buy in Nassau, and wait until I get home. The reason is that I found a pretty cool AD here and I'd kind of like to build a relationship with them because somehow, I don't think this will be my last Rolex! Plus, what I really want is a SS / White Daytona, and I think having a good relationship with a local AD will bear more fruit in that purpose. Opinions? (And I've also considered the possibility of trying to build a relationship with John Bull, as Freeport is only a ferry's ride from FL) BTW, I'm looking at either SS or TT sports models |

If you don't mind the cyclops, then you have a wide variety of Rolex watches you can choose from. If you are not a fan of cyclops (such as myself), then you go with the Sea Dweller or non date models such as 14060 and Airkings.
It all depends as well if this is the only watch that you'll be wearing for all occassions. If you ask me, I'll go with an SS sport model.

Thanks for the input! I don't think I'll have trouble decding which one when I am ready, but I'd like to hear input on John Bull vs. local AD. I plan to buy more in the future, so is it better to spend the extra cash and buy locally?
