Thank you in advance for your participation. ![]() Enjoy the survey! V/R, Michael Multiple Choice Answer Options (Choose only one) A: Strongly agree B: Somewhat agree C: No opinion D: Somewhat disagree E: Strongly disagree Answer Format Sample: 1.A2.B3.C4.D5.E6.A7.B8.C9.D10.E11.A12.B13.C14. Rolex Owner Opinion Survey on the subject of customization (14 questions) Note: The phrase, “non standard Rolex” refers to an authentic Rolex component installed on a Rolex model for which it was not designed or intended. (e.g., a red GMTII 24-hour hand on a GMTIIC) 1. I think Rolex owners should make NO changes to watch or bracelet of any kind other than scheduled maintenance or necessary repair. 2. I think the use of NATO or ZULU style nylon or fabric straps IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. 3. I think the installation of transparent case backs IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. 4. I think removal of the cyclops lens IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. 5. I think brushing out PCLs IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., TT or SS GMTIIC) 6. I think the installation of a non standard Rolex bezel IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., a blue WG Sub bezel on a SS Sub) 7. I think the installation of a non standard Rolex dial IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., a blue WG Sub dial on a SS Sub) 8. I think the installation of a non standard Rolex hand IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., a red GMTII 24-hour hand on a GMTIIC) 9. I think the installation of a non standard Rolex bracelet IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., a modified GMTIIC SL bracelet on a GMTII) 10. I think the installation of a non standard Rolex clasp IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., a Daytona clasp on a YM) 11. I think the installation of a PVD/DLC “blacked out” or otherwise modified Rolex part IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., a customized black PVD Rolex Daytona crown and pushers kit) 12. I think the purchase of a complete PVD/DLC “blacked out” or otherwise fully modified Rolex watch and bracelet IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., Project X customized Rolex models) 13. I think the installation of an aftermarket or custom made NON Rolex part IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., Hadley-Roma look-a-like bracelets and clasps) 14. I think the application of additional precious metals or jewels to watch or bracelet IS an acceptable choice for Rolex owners. (e.g., gold plated and/or diamond encrusted hip-hop bling) |

I think you should do whatever you want with your own watch. But, good luck trying to sell your non-standard watch.

Your Opinion Matters
For those who replied with a single opinion statement, would appreciate it if you would provide your opinion on each of the 14 survey questions (per the provided answer format) so that a more detailed assessment of results can be performed.
Thank you. V/R, Michael |
