I imagine such shoes would be OK in AZ where the weather is fairly stable. No way you'd get a pair like that in PA, they just would not hold up enough to justify the price.

They are excellent...I have 3 pair...they are a bit dressier looking than the Match, which BTW is a great shoe. Mephisto shoes are worth every dollar....they're more comfy than my sneakers!!!

As I mentioned in the other thread, I've had a few pair of Mephistos. I didn't realize that the "match" was the first pair that I had. Resoled once, new insoles. It's a great shoe. NOT the most stylish, but that's one of their classic designs similar to my 15 yr old purchase. I don't think the price went up much either. I want to say that I paid $290.
I might go to get a new pair myself!

I got them when they were a hundred bux, so that was at least ten years ago or more. And yes, they are very well made and comfy.

Thanks,
Randy

I have some Mephisto sandals that I occasionally wear. Very well made.

Mephisto shoes....next best to being barefoot. Expensive, but like a Rolex worth every penny.

Great shoes Greg. I even bought a pair if Mephisto golf shoes down in Juptier

Florida once, perhaps one of the most craziest things I ever did, regarding the price!

My Mephisto are the most comfortable dress shoes that I own, but I don't wear them much. I usually wear Ecco's or my Birk's.

Mephisto are quality shoes. Quite comfortable, but not exactly the most stylish.
