Happy Father's Day to each of you.


The Daddy Prayer

St. Michael and St. Florian, watch over my son today as you once did me. Walk with him every day, through every door. Protect his heart, which is so big, in a world that is so much bigger.

St. Damian of Hawai’i, guide your keik’i with the spirit of our ancestors.

St. Ignatius of the Jesuits, teach my son to take on causes greater than himself, to fight and not heed the wounds, to labor and not count the cost.

And St. Joseph, help me to be the best father I can be. Grant my mind the wisdom I do not have, my body the stamina I lack, and joy in my heart that I may delight in my child.

For I will falter often.

But I can not fail.
