clasp code
i've got a vintage 1986 dj that i bought new from ad. it has h clasp code which based on another trf posting dates from 1983. should i be concerned that s/n is from 1986 whereas clasp code is 1983. does it make sense that rolex makes clasps in such quantities that they're used over several yrs?

What is the serial number of your watch? I have seen this before though 1-2 years off from original owner watches.Back then AD's would switch bands from oyster to jubilee from watches they had to sell also.

Most will say its a 1985 production watch. I wouldnt be concerned about the clasp code personally. Enjoy
