anyone please?? how cold is the water temps the team is diving in? around 40-45 degrees F possibly?? Can be colder than 32 correct, since water freezes at this temp? Anyway, talk about a testament to the DSSDs robustness and dependability!!! Even more amazing people though, pushing the limits! GO ROLEX. Amazing stuff. BEST REGARDS

We frequently dive under the ice up here in Minnesota, USA, and the Submariner performs perfectly in the cold water. However, the visibility in the lakes is about 25 feet, not infinity like under the Antarctic ice.

Anything here that a standard DJ or any other would not be able to handle? The Deepsea does not have or need a special low temperature capability to do this and the depth is just 75 feet. Sorry if I am hard to please but whilst the diving looks dangerous and exciting, the watch bit leaves me unimpressed.

I'll be impressed if someone uses (and needs) one for a role that only the Deepsea can achieve (but that's not going to happen).

You makes me feel sorry for my subbie who's best adventure under his clasp is under 20ft or so on a scuba adventure with the supervision of a master diver.
