Changing bezel regularly, will it wear?

If I change out my bezel color, let's say monthly, will it eventually wear anything out. I don't want it to not snap back on after a while. Or is it pretty well indestructible? Thanks

Its' made of aluminum which is a much softer metal than the stainless steel bezel. Eventually there will be some wear on the insert depending on the frequency of changes.

If your switching it that often, you might want to get a seperate bezel.

And what about the bezel itself and the case - any ideas as to whether those will wear because of frequent takings-off ?

As long as your pry tool doesn't marr the case, and you don't do it too often, you should be o.k., but I wouldn't do it too much.

That's what I meant, not really worried about the insert. The monthly change was just hypothetical, it'll probably be more like once every 6 months.

That shouldn't be too much. The rehaut should be watched for excessive wear, but that doesn't seem too often. The watch can handle a good bit.

I disagree. I somehow doubt Rolex intended for customers to disassemble and reassemble their watches much at all. Some of us just do it - some successfully, some not.

One unfortunate by product of the ease to change the old GMT bezel inserts is the plethora of unscrupulous sellers selling watches which were originally cokes or black bezels to be the more popular Pepsis. I have see this on TRF.

Considering the nature of stainless steel, especially if a slight amount of recommended lube is applied, I don't believe the bezel/case will wear much if any after a thousand changes.
