White gold YM2 .. I can't get it out of my head
That's it ! As many of you know Dalip visited Barcelona and we ended up spending a lot of time with each other's family .
Yesterday it was their last day , event full , and we ended up in a couple of AD's . Dalip bought a beautiful DJ for his wife and I as an idiot tried on the WG Yachtmaster 2 . I'm in love with it now If it wasn't for that price tag it would have stayed on my wrist . |

you have a great taste Tristan. YMII is an amazing piece, especially the WG version.
did you take any wrist pix? (good on Dalip to have finally bring his wife to our dark side ) |

Yours and Dalip's combined wouldn't be worth a red tag.

If it wasn't for WG, I would've purchased it as well. But I'm considering YM 1 ss/pt. at the moment! :D

I have a question about that WG YM2.
IconicWatches posted an interesting review on Youtube of the YG YM2 with the ceramic bezel, and when the reviewer compared the YM2's ceramic bezel to the previous YM (Yachtmaster 1), he said that the Yachmasters have a bezel that has a sand blasted finish, which caused a lot of problems with ware and tare on that watch due to something related to the sand blasted finish of the bezel. Doesn't the WG YM2 have that same sand blasted finish on the bezel as the original Yachtmasters that are being referred to in that IconicWatches youtube video? If so, I'm not sure whether I'd be concerned about the bezel's durability. Here is a video link to the review I'm referring to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI_5yGu-uZY |

There are many worse things that could be stuck in your head. Best to fill your head with beauty, and what a beauty the WG YM2 is.

To the OP: The Y-M II is a heart breaker. I think, if it comes out in SS, I may make the purchase.
Do you think having it in SS misses the point? In other words, do you think this is a watch that has to be in YG or WG? |

I love white gold, such an underrated metal imo. Go for it, and please post pics when you get there. BTW I've been interrogating local Argentine waiters, but none seem to have the 5513 I want....

Not at all Mark , I recall a post whereby a member asked what kind of watch should Rolex come out with . I said exactly that .. YM2 in SS and with maybe a Platinum or WG bezel . I love the watch , just my wallet does not like the price tag .
