Vintage Omega Seamaster HELP PLEASE!!
I recently came across a vintage seamaster for an incredible price so I Picked it up...
Im having a hard time dating it and I have only found reference to the case number here and there with no real info...I have used Omegas vintage watch dating tool..and extensively searched the net... Here are the details! It is a gold case (solid or plated, im not sure) day-date..The face has gold hands with black and glow inlay, the hour markers are gold with black stripes down the center....It does not have the original band.. face is marked.. Omega Automatic Seamaster -T Swiss Made T- The number on the inside of the case back is CE 166034 (This is the exact number) , It is 24 jewel And has several other marking on the automatic movement... I have done alot of research and cant find it anywhere but I have found the number referenced here and there with no real answers as to what is is... Any help would be greatfully appreciated, I really would like to know when it was made and what its worth.. Thanks in advance guys! |

if it's day-date
then chances are it is 1970's or newer, maybe a 1010 or 1020 mvt? pics of course will help. with vintage omegas there is no case serial number but you can search the movement serial number and find an approximate mnufacture date, but many watches have had their movements replaced over the years so it may not be entirely accurate.

Go here, "Omega Vintage Watch Information" site. Register and you will then be able to search the site by entering the details of your watch.
