My rolex dj

Here is my first and only rolex that I got about 3 years ago and rarely wear.

So what do you guys think? If I had to do it over again I would have gotten something bigger as this is 31mm. it still has it's place in my wordrobe though, on special occasions.

I'm partial to the larger watches with a bezel insert, but that's a cool watch. I'd be proud of that one too!

I would hate my self if I screwed up a watch I paid 7 grand for. Thats another reason I'm tempted to sell. I don't know though, because I do love it!

Why don't you just add to the collection? A nice Sub would be a great 'rotation' watch with that DJ.

Lovely watch. I have the exact same one with the Blue face.

Current market is not great for resale and you may end up taking a hit on it.

Keep it and, as has been said, get another to rotate it with.

I've noticed that, and unless I get a great deal I am going to keep it.

Not rolex, but i just bought a MKII and looking for a GSAR or TSAR (sterile) to rotate it with. I am not in the position to buy the watches that I lust for, I guess I have expensive taste.

You only lose out if you DON'T wear it. Certainly don't wear it in sketchy neighborhoods and wear long sleeves if you are doing heavy lifting, but otherwise enjoy your fine watch!

It's a stunning watch and you'd be surprised how good it looks with jeans and a T if you haven't noticed already!

If you love it - keep it - and give it the wear it deserves!

I am really thinking of selling this watch! But, while I was taking pictures I noticed something. The papers say it is a 116234. I thought I had a 178274 because I found it here http://www.rolex.com/en#/rolex-watch...-m178274-0017/

here is a picture. So what watch do I have and is there anything I should know, so I can look up some prices of what they've been selling?

You cannot screw up this watch, it's made of the toughest materials and almost as durable as any other Rolex.

Wear it, don't pamper it. If you buy a 911Turbo you wanna push it 200+ too right.

Seriously, I should listen to the papers right? I can't find another 116234 that looks like mine but I can find a 178274. I'm smarter than this, but need help.

Thanks! I took it to where I bought it and they confirmed that it is 36mm and the 116234.

ps. I had to stay away for a while or I would have bought too many watches.

Since someone bumped my post, I have another questions for you experts. The bracelet has white gold in the middle right? I think yes because it is the same price as the yellow gold model and that has YG in the bracelet. I just need to know because I have been asked this three times already and I always tell them I think it does because of the reason I just said. That doesn't inspire any confidence in my ads.
