Hi All,

I am in final prep stages of buying my next dream watch which is the GMT IIc. But I was wondering...... Do you think its possible to get the centre links on the bracelet brushed ? The case also?

if so what are the implications of doing this?
- Loss of value?
- Would rolex re polish them to factory issue with a full service?
- Would rolex then touch the bracelet full stop after a modification?
- Would an AD do this?
- Has anyone else done this mod on their GMT IIc?

This modification has had lots of threads covering it.....

Debatable if it would lose value...
Yes Rolex would definitely take it back to how they intended it to be
An AD would not do this mod....
Loads of people have done it or had it done....

Personally, I like the PCLs and view them as an integral part of the GMT's design.

Dont try removing the cyclops, as the antireflective coating stays...

The traditional Rolexes do not have antireflective on the underside of the cyclops, but the GMT-c and probably the Sub-C do..

Removing the cyclops can be done with a razor blade but I would not attempt it.

JustRolex had it happen accidentally posted here

You can see on the traditional GMT II there is no antireflective coating on the underside of the cyclops.
