Watch collection Complete.

With yesterdays purchases now have 4 watches. That is it for me. No more money left! Will be content. Am very thankful, that is 3 more than most people have.

Collection is:

Submariner LV (on olive drab green Zulu band)
GMT II Red/Black Bezel
Explorer II Black Face
IWC Spitfire UTC

Like them all! Covers me in all situations.

The bracelet and lum on the IWC UTC is fantastic!

The official count down has begun on when you buy your NEXT watch. I doubt it will be too long

Yeah, I know, I need to go shopping for a camera.

No, that is it! No more money, already way over my budget. THe only way I will get another watch is if I flip one of the ones I have and then trade or buy another one , with a profit. I would like to get a IWC Spitfire or Classic Pilot.

That's what we all say! wait a couple more months, and you will be riding high in the saddle for another one.

There's a lot of that going around.

P.S. Did you ever find the bezel insert you were looking for?

Chad, congrats.

I have also thought many times my collection is complete, but something new always shows up.

It is tought though. I ask one question before I buy any new watch. I ask do I like it as much or more than the watches I already own? If the answer is no, I pass on the watch. I know if I do not really like it I will not wear it. So what is the use of getting it.

With that rule, my watch buying has slowed down quite a bit.

In my experience never say never. Only a matter of time before something else comes along and sparks your interest.

Nice group Chad but I can also recall saying the very same as you when I got to 4 watches (then 5, then 6, 7, 8........................................... )
