Sleepless in Ohio
So I'm surfing around for a good watch forum. Looks like I found it.
Before last week I didn't even know if I wanted a Rolex. Then, while perusing through some threads, I see a picture and instantly know what watch I am destined to have. Kind of like when I saw my wife for the first time (I said kind of...<sheesh>) The only problem is I don't know what flavor of Rolex it could be. (Here's the part where you all come in.) It's the avatar under the name JJ Irani. A little blue and gold number. I dream about her at night (the watch AND the wife, if you must know). Please help a tortured soul find it's (watch) mate. Best Regards, Maudy |

I paid just US$5900 for that last December '06, but then I think I'm privileged 'cause I happen to live in Heaven (if you can consider New Zealand a slice of Heaven on Planet Earth!! ) It comes fitted with a special OYSTER FLIPLOCK bracelet with diver's extension links. It's waterproof to 1000 feet and all the YELLOW bits you see on the watch are 18 K GOLD. As for the rest, I suggest you check this baby out at your nearest Rolex AD and see for yourself. I guarantee you it will just blow your mind away!! A few more shots....just for you!!!

Oh my word - that's just beautiful!

When am I going to buy mine?!? Good question.
It's all about the (fill in your choice of currency), isn't it. I'm going to slip away after work today and visit my first Rolex AD. However, I reserve the right to buy "pre-owned". I sometimes lack the fortitude/patience to save for big ticket items. I believe that is going to change with this one. Oh yes, and only time will tell if this watch is "impossible to resist," or "almost impoossible to resist." Here's to the former. |

I visited the AD today. I can barely stand now (weak in the knees...)
She's a beauty. Unfortunately, I only got the shop down to 7,500. What's the secret to getting the best deal? Buy used? I wonder what the market brings for a blue TT sub these days. Hi Mike. Just outside Dayton. |
