Price Check Please

I posted this on the site next door too. I have a pristine condition SS DJ (16220) with Oyster Bracelet and have both boxes and all paperwork. When I bought my YM, the AD offered me $2300 for a trade. I declined and just bought the YM outright. Now I'm trying to thin the herd. What is the fair price to ask for if I wish to sell it the DJ? I can take pictures as soon as my camera battery is charged. Thank you.

I think the current range for that model in pristine condition is between $2400 to $2900. Pic's will help better determine the value, and also the serial number would help.

The serial no. is important to help us determine the age of the watch. We can then take it from there.

Cheers - JJ

The warranty paper indicates L406379. I bought this from the Military PX in Europe. Thank you.

Wow, I couldn't even spell Rolex in 1988. The date on the warranty looks like a 92 or 97, can't really tell.

I think that is a great looking Datejust - If I was looking for one, I would take it off your hands right away! The dial matches my truck color!

19 years old, has it ever been serviced?

Would think the 2300 the dealer offered is pretty fair. If a service is needed, one would be into it around 2300+500=2800 for a 19 year old watch.

Does anyone know if this w/ the engine turn bezel is sought after?
