Another newbie saying hi

My first Rolex a GMT II bought from an AD in 97 seen here in its natural habitat. Actually its resting as it needs a service after 4 years as my daily wearer after I lost an Omega SMP.

I also have a white dialed 16520 away at service.

A 2001 sub date that I have not really worn much. When I bought the GMT I went in to buy a sub date. After I bought the sub date the GMT was such an old friend that I could not get attached to this shiny newcomer. Maybe I should have got the sandpaper out

So anyhow recently decided I needed a watch fix, had a flirt with a Seiko, a few Russians, but have decided I really like the sports Rolex. A late 5513 has now been added with gloss dial and WG markers. The 5513 will be for my son, when he is 21 as it from the same year he was born.

So for myself I am looking a Pepsi GMT with plastic crystal and matt dial to add a bit more variety. But, I do quite like the 5513 so may have to get another one of those for myself.

Thanks for the welcome

These are the 2 subs for now, I have been wearing the 5513 and it could become a favourite. I will be looking out for one for myself.
