Can anyone recommend an AD in Philly/NJ to have my LV regulated??
Timed my brand new 'M' serial LV out of curiosity over the past two weeks that I've owned it. Consistently gained 75 sec over 7 days (+11 ish seconds per day) each week I timed it. I don't know if I'm going to have it regulated or not, but I don't know of an AD to go to if I do. Can anyone help? I want to avoid sending to a RSC if I can. I prefer for someone to have personal experience at the location they recommend. Thanks everyone.

Benari Jewelers in Exton, PA, and Govberg in Bala Cynwyd both have in-house watchmakers. I once went to Benari and their watchmaker regulated my old Sub while I waited, for free--but then the last time I went, they were a little rude to me, so I avoid them now. They laid off one of their watchmakers, and even their sales staff seemed completely different from the first time I went.
Govberg will take your watch in, make you wait a couple weeks, and charge for the service, but I really like them and would definitely recommend them. They actually have my current Sub right now. They have a Philadelphia location, but it's just a store, no watchmaker. |

Try Sam Kalter on Jeweler's Row in Philly. Never used him, but heard a lot of good things about him.

Thanks for the help so far, guys. I would prefer to have it done while I wait if possible. Now I have to decide if I want anyone inside my new watch yet...

Well your watch is showing the most important thing with mechanical watches consistency.Myself would first try a full manual wind 40 full crown turns clockwise then set watch with reliable time source wear as normal.Check time daily with setting time source then average loss or gain over those 5 days.Don't be in a hurry to get the back off if your watch is less than a month or two old.But regulation is a very simple task if AD has in-house watchmaker could be done while you wait, send it to the RSC could be 3-6 weeks before you get watch back.

Thanks for the advice, Padi. I have worn it for two weeks straight as normal and like I said it's +11 each day. I'm not a real stickler for accuracy, but I'd like to stay within +6. I don't want it opened up. I'm just gonna see what happens in the next month or so. Worst comes to worst I'll just set it back as coulple mins every couple weeks.
