Model Differences...

I guess I'll post this question in a new thread as the other one has fallen off the edge...

Both these watches are advertised as new yet... there are subtle differences in the two. Specifically, the lume on the hour/minute hands and the small accent cuts on the lugs. Both advertise the new bracelet and clasp and the lugs appear to be the new, wider width. If so, why the differences? Is it arbitrary or is one model newer than the other?

It may seem like I'm doing nothing but, at a cellular level, I'm actually quite busy...

Im not sure, but that is a BEAUTIFUL TT. I specifically like the color of the dial...It really makes the diamond markers POP!

I just noticed something...

On the inside ring above the dial ( on the left one ), it has an inscription... Looks like 'rolex' around the whole ring.

Good eye... Indeed, you're right. Another clue as to which might be newer.

Still looking for some constructive input.. surely someone has seen these accents on the lugs before. What's up with that? Lumed hands, foreign lug cuts, new style band... is this a franken-watch?

the accents on the lugs are the plastic films to protect the polished surfaces.....

Hahahahahaha... Well, color me stupid

I see the 'tabs' now. They looked like actual cuts to me.

Good, one down, one to go. Does Rolex arbitrarily mix hands w/dials?

Whoa... backup. RU sure...

I see 3 shaped cuts each lug. Gotta toss this back into the kitty for clarification...

Addendum: Ok, I wish I could delete this... Maybe I should have a drink or two. Perhaps my powers of observation would benefit from it. Right now all I'm high on is nose spray. Go figure... Still could be plastic protectant. Just more than one 'tab'.
