Fountain Pen Network forum.
What you have there is a 1910s-1920s vest-pocket fountain pen, most likely in 14kt gold-filled barrel and cap. Nib will probably be 12-14kt gold. |

Any idea on the value range? I'm trying to figure out if I should sell it, give it to a friend, or just throw it in a drawer.

It certainly has a value, but I wouldn't know what that is. I certainly wouldn't throw it in a drawer. It's not a biro. I would say about $200, but that's based only on my very limited experience in this stuff.
