Hola Gerardo!!
A real madness, but a gentle one!!
Beautiful collection you got there!
Nice to have a "problem" like yours: to decide which one to take, or to think about buying an extra low profile one.

My answer to these occassions when a low profile Rolex is required, is to wear my Explorer (I).

Anyway, your cute TT DJ, could be used if you donīt wish to make a new investment.
A leather or rubber strap will help with "camouflage" this fine and trusty timepiece.

Have a nice and safe trip colega!!
Muy Cordialmente, Abel

Somehow I know I will visit the duty free AD on Thursday

I agree, plus nice size.

Hmmm....nice take. Why not? It has the features less the blinginess....plus that red seconds hand....beauty!

Gracias ABEL. I agree on the 'discrete' looks of the EXP I; and also on how the DJ can be dressed up or down.

Well, off we go. After a lot of thought, IWC was the choice. I will have to hop on/off several planes, go past security 10+ times and carry lots of things with me. I know any Rolex can stand this, but I would hate to give my DJ a new scratch. This does NOT mean that I will stay away from AD tomorrow!!

Will report later......right now @ VIP room on airport #1. My IWC, laptop and a cold Bohemia dark beer.

I say Exp II because of your taste for different timezones & travel. Since you already have the GMT IIC, the Exp I would not be a bad choice. Simple, classic, iconic. Harkens back to Flemming & the good old days.

Saludos!

Hi Gerardo,

and YES, this IS madness, but I like it anyway...

You really have some beautiful watches. The one I like most is the TT SubC, what a stunner!

But my advice is: Go and get the SubC SS! This will be enough "low profile", and it will surely add to your excellent collection...

Kind regards
