Rolex Ref. 1500 Questions

I picked up a reference 1500 some time ago serial # in the 1.9 millions. From the research I have done the 1500 is supposed to be an all stainless model right, but mine has a gold dial, gold fluted bezel, gold crown and 2 tone jubilee bracelet with D links. My question is did Rolex make such a watch or is mine a hot-roded 1500? It is a beautiful watch, but do the changes if not original detract from it's value and what do I do to get it serviced? If it is not 100% original I can't send it to an AD for service right? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I can post some pics latter on if it would help.

From your description of the watch, it sounds as if the bezel was replaced and it has an aftermarket bracelet. I have a 69 Date with a gold bezel and and an original jublilee bracelet. The model number is 1505. It was common for customers to request the original oyster bracelets to be replaced with jublilee bracelets. Dates with original bracelets issued by the factory are very rare. My 1505 is one the rare dates with an original jubilee bracelet. I have the rarity verified by my watchmaker and 7 AD. I also have the original paperwork. Enjoy your watch. Also, model 1500 did have gold dials.
