GMT TT Anniversary????
Is the new TT GMT ceramic bezel an "anniversary model"? How does one tell an anniversary model from a regular? Where do you find this info?

I believe the only real anniversary GMT is the Gold version. The TT ( and if a SS version is released) are/will be new GMT references.

The TT GMT II is indeed an Anniversary model as is designated by the GMT Master II on the dial being written in Green and the 24 hour GMT hand is also Green.

Interesting issue (to me anyway), the all gold GMT also has a green date wheel. So, will a new stainless version only have the green 24 hour hand or only have the green model designation, or will it have any green at all.
To bad my TT doesn't have the green date wheel. |

This is frustrating. What is the real answer? Where are the answers? This seems like it's all speculation. Is this just how Rolex operates, keeping everyone guessing? How do we know the all gold model is the anniversary? Help!

I will tell you what .......if you go to a AD he will sell you the TT GMT II as an anniversary model because it has Green GMT hand and Green text on the dial. Atleast that's my experience.... But then again , Rolex came out with anniversary model for sub - LV couple of years ago and still keeps producing it so, who know what they will do with GMT.
It makes business sense -- if people are willing to buy more ... why not keep making more and keep the mystic behind anniversary model keeep going.... The new sub with BLUE ceramix bezel will definitely take a bite out of TT GMT II sales. |

2005 is the 50th anniversary of the gmt.....(the gmt was first launched in 1954) the 116713 was launched at baselworld 2006.....bling bling versions of the 18k were introduced as well.....

If I'm not mistaken, the solid gold GMT with the Green dial is the Anniversary model.
