Best place to buy a Rolex
Hi,
I'm new in the forum and to tell you the truth I'm not in the watches world even that I'm the owner of a great Blue Submariner. The thing is that my wife likes the new Datejust for women (I think that it is the 28 mm) with diamonds (I've attached a photo, this is with dark dial but she likes either this o the motherpearl one) Could you give me an advise where is the best/cheapest place to get one of this? Thank you very mach for all your recomendations Carlos |

I have been considering getting a midsize datejust for my woman (31mm). The ladies size is 26mm and she thinks it's too small.
I have to tell you after looking around, these "little" Rolex's do not hold their value like the 40mm SS sports models. Seems the gold and diamonds make the gap between MSRP and resale even bigger. The one she really wants is MSRP $10,250 - and I have found it used for $5k. guess where I'm buying when I'm ready? do your research so you don't get burned, there are some great sellers on TRF and of course the other forums and eBay. |

IMHO, TRF is one of the very best places to find a good deal on any Rolex.

Welcome , Do have a Harley Man? I got a 2005 CVO Fatboy just wondering about riding in Spain, must be awesome.
Is that watch a 116244 with a bronze floral dial? If so, in the US you should be able to get it at 30% off or so from a the right dealer not sure about Spain... Take care. Mike |

Hi Mike, Nice conincidence. Take a look at the picture. Je je a 2005 CVO Fat. And yes, you are correct about the model. I have to tell you that the last four years I've been going to the USA for my Holydays and you have a really nice country ( I would not mind living there), but in the other hand Spain is very nice for bike riding, pleanty of diferent places to see with diferent weather conditions and at a distance of no more than 800 miles. Thank you Carlos |

The best place is one of your local Rolex AD's, it may not be the cheapest way but it the best way.

Only problem getting a watch from the forum is that most sellers are from the USA, and if the op is importing to Spain then there is a considerable price increase with the tax!

I must admit that it does seem to be the US that has some of the best prices and discounts out there for Rolex and I would say point yourself in the direction of the esteemed fellows who sell on TRF. Everyone have purchased from the have had great dealings
Beautiful Bike BTW! Which part of Spain do you live in. I used to visit 7/8 times a year when I lived in the UK. I love the Costa Brava, especially Tossa de Mar |

There are great sellers here on TRF but unfortunately you are probably not going to find that one on this or any other forum. As Mike said --it is one you should be able to get at for 30% off though at an AD.
