If you like LV, keep it. IMHO is much better to start saving for next purchase (and YM is great choice), than to sell something you like. You`ll regret it, and won`t be able to enjoy beauty of YM.
Just my two cents...

You've answered your own question! Don't but the YM unless you can afford to buy both.

I have both and love both for different reasons. If you can afford them both do so. People under appreciate the YM but is wears really well and is unique to the Rolex Family and yes I speak from experience. My philosophy is that you only live once and you can't take it with you but at least my son will inherit mine!

I have, and love, the ss/platinum YM. If you can afford both, keep the LV, as you may want a Submariner in the future.

Everyone,

Thank you SO much!

Opinions really helpful.
I am keeping LV.

When I got my SS Daytona (now sold) I couldnt live with the PCL and I was constantly paranoid about scratching it. I also found it almost too dressy.

I only can afford to have 1 Rolex, so I will be keeping the LV.

Maybe in the future I will get a YM if I see one at a good price and I am in the position to do so. However the LV goes no-where.

Thanks again everyone.

Good choice Nairn.....
The LV is a great watch and with a simple bezel swap it's instantly two in one...It's a keeper for sure!

I had my LV back in 2004 for six months I swapped it for a Yachtmaster, no regrets. The YM is one of the most underated watches for me especially the plat model. In fact I wearign it today and loving it!

I will probably end up buying another LV in the future.

BUY BOTH

Keep the LV. YM does nothing for me.
