It's awesome. I love the 1950 case, sandwich dial and auto in-house movement. Looks thick as a brick though. How does it wear on the wrist?

To me, it wears thicker (taller) than the Luminor case. I prefer the Luminor case for comfort and fit for me (i.e. my wrist size)

312 is a great piece, I have a 233 which is somewhat similar in terms of looks but of course a different movement.

I think he meant luminor, as opposed to the luminor 1950 case.

That's what I thought. Even though the 1950 is thicker than the regular Luminor case, people say it wears thinner. Doesn't look like it in pics. I need to see one in the flesh before I pull the trigger.

The watch looks nice, I just think I would much rather perfer a leather strap instead of a rubber strap.

I was in Miami airport yesterday and the guy ahead of me in the security line had a 312 on.

He took it off and plopped it down in the plastic bin with the rest of his stuff and shoved it into the xray machine.

I wanted to talk about Panerai with him, but I kept quiet just in case his watch walked away on the other end of the xray. I didn't want to be mistaken for a set-up man.

The 312 is a nice piece! But I really wish it had the domed crystal...if it did, then I'm def all over it. Probably Panerai will make one soon...they seem to come out with every possible variation these days.

The 312 is a great model. I got a 090 and wish I would have waited for the 312!

I love this one. I wanted the 312 for a long time, but couldn't find one available.
