Icon17 Kingwood Car Show Pics

My son and I attended 3 car shows this weekend. It was only suppose to be one but, when you go you hear about others so we covered them!

About 150 were in attendance at this show. As you notice the white '53 Corvette, it's the real deal. The owner also owns the white T-Bird that was in American Graffiti movie...along with 18 other street rods & muscle cars. The '53 he bought for his wife and she drives it alot!

My favorite at this show was the bagged and slammed blue and white 70s Chevy truck. I love'm scraping!

Here are a few pics from the show today. Enjoy.

Thanks Guys. My son and I have been hitting the car show circuit again. Not showing my car at all of them, but we hit our fair share.

What's odd is with all the great weather we've been having, the shows have been lower in attendance than they were near the first of the year. It's still fun to go and hang out with other motorheads.

One of the best General Lee's I've seen in years. The bodywork was impeccable.

Thanks again. I've been a Porsche guy for 20 years, but have owned a '56 Chevy BelAir, '40 Ford 2-D Sedan...my last count of total vehicles is somewhere on the north side of 35.

I'm looking for a mid 60s Caddy 2 door coupe so I can bag it to the ground with 22s.

I'll post other photos from the 2 shows on Saturday for everyone tonight.

For those who are curious...All photos were shot with a Nikon D300 using a Nikkor 24mm wide angle F2.8.

I had gotten tired of people walking in front of me, so now I can get close to minimize the walk-thrus.
