Crown slid off stem

My crown slides off the stem thus i can not set the time....
How does the crown attache to the stem? Help appreciated

It's simply screwed on. Loctite is used to hold it in place..

Because it unscrews, some feel a watch should be wound only in the clockwise direction.........

It is also possible that the crown and/or stem is stripped. This would require replacement, which is not a huge deal.

If you can get your crown to thread on properly, apply a tiny amount of Loctite 222 and you should be good to go.

Thanks! The crown screws off and on fine, it only pops off when i pull to third position. I will try your suggestion....Thanks again!!

The crown should not pop off in any position. Either it threads correctly onto the stem or it does not.

The crown doesnt pop off when its svrewed on. It only pops off the stem once unscrewed.

The only proper way is to open the watch take out the stem put the stem in a pin vise unscrew crown apply small amount of locktite to the threads of the stem then screw the crown on tightly but not too tight or you will break the stem. Rik
