We all know Collectors always like to find something more esoteric to "Collect"! If the folks putting watches together, especially the old guys from 50, 75+ years ago, knew how we microscopically went over these things, and how we attempted to explain away these little variances, they would be "collectively" (no pun intended)

We are a different breed!

Interesting. Not sure whether I prefer the more reflective or less reflective subdials. Hmmm.

Like almost all Rolex models, there is some variation in dial fonts and markings...

Depending on how "rare" this difference may be, or how it strikes the fancy of future collectors (think red letters), it sometimes increases a particular watches value.. However, that is the exception and mostly it just becomes another research data point to judge authenticity/originality, or if it's a known serial span, it can narrow down a time frame.

All part of the charm of Rolex.........

If you notice it, the chronograph second hand on the single tick is almost perfectly align on the number 60 on the calibrated bezel of the watch, not so on the double tick.

That's because I hadn't reset the chrono function on the second watch. It perfectly aligns as it should on both!

The double tick is obviously going to be worth a lot more. (kidding)
