Opinions

I am thinking about a new watch. I have narrowed it down to the Omega PO 42mm or the IWC Aquatimer 2000 white dial. I would appreciate any opinions or thoughts.

If you are going for a dive watch in particular, I'd go with the Omega.

You can't go wrong with either.
You really need to try them both on and see
what suits you best.

I was researching IWC and there have been some persons in another forum that said they had some issues with accuracy....not crazy but annoying...over 10 seconds a day that the company could not recitfy even with a regulation.

That's regarding their 7 day power reserve movement when it's at 2 days or less. Completely different movement than what the original poster was talking about. I happen to have a watch with the same exact movement, and I can tell you first hand that it's been +1 seconds per day since I got it.

Oh I'm sure it is. There have been people who have said that their watch can go up to +15 when the power reserve gets low. That still won't stop me from getting a Portuguese!

Looks like the IWC may run away with it.
