The GV. If it had a fluted bezel, I'd buy one tomorrow. Still, my grail is the TT bluesy. I like all the Millgaus watches. Hell, I gotta' face it - I like something about almost every Rolex.

I haven't seen the GV yet in the flesh, but of the ones that I have I like the Black and White equally. Both crisp and classy and a valid reason to own both forms really.

I own a GV.....but for me the 1019 defines the Milgauss more than any other version.....even the original 6541!!!!

It defines why the watch was made.....on CERN versions even down to the lume....... and has the most simple and classy dial of all versions.
The original 6541 does not get my juices flowing the same way the 1019 does.....it looks too much like a Submariner variant, lacking its own distinct identity,IMHO.Of course i would still love to own one,but the 1019 has the extra appeal for me!!!

The 1019 has its own distinct identity....and is MY grail that i will probably never own!!!!

Stevo....do you still have your 1019 non-CERN black dial version??????

Did Larry make a mistake on his Milgauss review calling the original version 6451 instead of 6541???????????[/B]

Own a GV, love it but consideriing getting the black dial one also since it's crystal is a bit clearer to read... green shade fogs it up a bit ... .. and the black looks a bit dressier .. but still I choose the GV overall

I have owned all three versions at one time or another, but I keep coming back to the GV. I really find it to be the one watch that Rolex has "gotten it right" of the newest designs and I am a little surprised to see them sitting at ADs. My latest GV was purchased for a price that I just couldn't resist and wearing it daily again has made me fall in love again.

The white dial is second place with me followed by the black dial and clear glass. All three are just wonderful watches to own, so get out there and expand that obsession!

The GV lost its popularity with me when I first saw it. I have to admit I am Really

not a fan of the green crystal, nor the dial that goes with it. To me it trivializes the watch, which at that price and with that amount of engineering should be a more serious piece of gear. The gimmicky green crystal and the multicolor dial just make an otherwise gorgeous, classic watch, (black dial), look silly. No offense meant to the fans of that look, but it ain't for me. The black dial and clear crystal is one of the best-looking watches out there, imho.

Have the black dial and love it, just got back from HK where I got touchy feely with the GV which is quite special - it even impressed the wife which is saying something....

I like the idea of the green crystal, and it definitely is unique, but, if I were to add one to my connection, I'm pretty sure it'd be the black dial with clear crystal. More balanced and cleaner looking to me.....The white dial Milgauss is nice, too, but, when it comes to white dial Rolexes, I prefer the Explorer II.

The disparity between apparent weight of the GV on the wrist and the actual weight (160 grams) is stunning. The GV is elegant but robust.

That's cheating!

Still torn between GV and white. Wish I could see these in person, but my small town doesn't stock these.

I also see a lot of black with green for sale. Did this lose its popularity?
when was the last time you saw a black faced patek calatrava or a black faced breguet classique?

I like the black and the white versions. There's something about the orange combined with the white that really looks classy to me.
