Query on Red Sub

I need advice from the vintage experts here. Is it possible to find a mark4 dial on a 3.7mil case of a 1680 red? Isn't it almost more common to find a mark6 dial on such a late case right?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks Connor for your reply. Since you said that it's not possible to find a mark4 dial on a 3.7mil case on a red sub, please advice on the red sub that Mark is currently selling on ebay. As you would already know, he is known as comexfan in eBay.

I know him very well--bought a handful of watches from him out of his own personal collection. I would ask him about the dial. It is clearly a very nice dial and complete set. He is also 100% stand up guy and honest as it gets. I am not sure how a Mark 4 dial could be on a 3.7mm watch. By the way--it is possible for a different era dial to be on another watch-it could have been replaced by a watchmaker if they did not have same era dial.

I would think so too. Perhaps it's a replacement dial as I'm not too sure how a Mark4 dial could be on such a late case.

If you are interested in it--shoot him an email asking him to email you off of Ebay. Again--he is a straight forward honest guy and a pleasure to deal with. I have spent hours on the phone with him as he is one of the most knowledgeable guys around!
