New to the (Red) Sub Club

After about 20 years of wanting a Rolex Submariner, the right opportunity finally came along, and it happened to be a 1970 red sub 1680 that I got a few days ago at what I believe was a very fair price. I posted a question below about the quickset date function which it doesn't have, and was asked to post some pictures. Here it is! I'm not very good at watch photography so I apologize for the quality. It's got a newer 93150 bracelet with 580 end links. I'm torn about the bezel ring, I love the color it's faded to, but it has a few nicks and scratches and I may replace it to better match the dial. It seems to keep time quite well so far.

Congrats the 1680 red is a great choice. The hour hand looks a little suspect as the patina does not match. Did you get any paper work? Did the seller claim all "original"?

I bought it from a reseller that only deals in Rolex occasionally and made no claims about its originality, and it was priced accordingly. Sadly there were no papers. The difference in patina of the hour hand isn't quite as noticeable in person- I tweaked the photo levels in photoshop which may have accentuated the difference more.
