That link to the Uzi pen is in fact for the Mk.1 Uzi pen (notice the top is a different shape).

I prefer the Mk.2 Uzi pen with the pointed (glass breaking tip).

Just thought I would let you guys know there are 2 models of the Uzi Pen.

I think this is kind of on the topic. I'm looking for a rugged but relatively short pen that I can drop in my jeans pocket and go. A full length pen tends to get bent or broken depending on what I'm doing. I want to sign a receipt, mark a board, whatever, at a moment's notice.

Ideas?

Fisher Bullet (oops) Space Pen

It's pretty short and writes in space. Google it.

I have this one, the Rick Hinderer Titanium Extreme Duty Pen (promo pic). Expensive...(really shouldn't be considered expensive in this forum)...But I consider this one the best available...(imho of course)

It also has additional screw on attachments for the rear (if one wants that is)

John, same question here. The Ti looks great.

The Uzi tac pen just arrived here today. Looks like it has been sitting on a shelf somewhere for ages. The Aluminum inside has all oxidized and powdered up. I had to clean it up quite a bit. The Alu powder was stuck in the threads, too.

It also feels too big to write with comfortably.

That's no good. You should have sent it back and got another one.

Here is the link...hope i am not breaking any rules by posting, certainly not my intention.
http://www.rickhindererknives.com/

In addition, if you are interested in purchase, below is the PayPal account information...and price with ship (for titanium...aluminum is I think more than half this price)

The price with shipping is $245 – PayPal address is: rhind64@earthlink.net

You can also email the same address with questions.

I am NOT affiliated in anyway with this company

It was an Australian dealer via Ebay. They were happy to send out a new ink cartridge. I used the same lanolin-based spray we use on sailing gear. Cleaned up and works fine now, just need that ink.

The Aluminum (long) version is $80.00. The short body version is $95.00 and the deluxe set is $125.00.

FYI: I have an aluminum green version for sale in the classified section. PM me for more info or if you have questions.
