Explorer 1016 question
I posted this earlier but it looks like it didn't take....I have a question about a 1016 Explorer 1 that was purchased new in 1985 from a reputable dealer but somehow the papers were mixed up by the dealer so the serial no of the watch and the garantie don't match and the error wasn't caught til now. It's in excellent condition as it was rarely worn - only about every 3rd day for a month, then packed away - my question is...what would the value of this watch be with the incorrect garantie? Thanks so much to anyone who can give me some insight.

I would look at it as a watch without papers. Here's a thought though. Since it's that old and time for service send it to the Independent Rolex center in SF and get service papers.
Welcome BTW. |

Thanks. What would be a ballroom figure of its value as a watch without papers?
