I would greatly appreciate some help in authenticating this Tudor 7016 I acquired recently.
Bought from a local dealer in SF.

your dial is TOTALLY incorrect. as for the case i am not liking
what i can see. you have a watch that would be 40 plus years
old and NO WEAR. hmmmm

the number are highly suspect. the style of the letters on the case
back. the pearl on the bezel. the shape of the crown guards on the
back side.

the movement should be a 2483 eta with a base caliber 2461
could you ask for a refund??

The dial is a fake, no such dial ever graced a Tudor. The Swiss T<25 was not on those watches. And, another clue is the dial looks new. The same goes for the case. The back looks laser etched, and the fonts aren't correct for the numbers.

That's my observations. I can't speak 100% for the movement, but there is enough there to call the watch fake - as my learned friend Blaine noted. I agree with him.

Another small point but on the dial there is normally no gap between the 200m, the equals sign and the 660ft - eg. 200m=660ft not 200m = 660ft.
