A solid timepiece, a reliable auto, a phone that works, a slim wallet, and a woman that puts you on cloud 9.

I wish more people would see it this way. I've been in the IT industry for years and I now own an ISP, I love my gadgets but I have a very simple phone. All I want out of it is to be durable, make calls, and connect to my car/laptop. That is it!

If I want to browse the internet or do any of the other crap they do these days, I'll do it on my computer. It is several hundred times faster and will same me so much time it is not funny. If I am out and about, I connect my laptop to the net via my phone. Nice and easy and saves me loads of time by not fiddling with mobile browsers/apps.

While I do appreciate that smart phones are a technical marvell, they are best left for kids to "play" with. Those of us that have real work to do will stick to computers.

Agreed.
My two main priorities in a phone are size and battery life.
Ive recently purchased a Philips Xenium 9@9K, tiny phone with a massive 1440 hours of standby time!
