PAM full service cost?
Hi there,
I'm about to pull the trigger on a late 2007 panerai, and was wondering how much it would cost me to send the wach into panerai to get it reconditioned? theres nothing wrong with the watch per say, but i heard it was necessary to get it reconditioned every 2 years, which the seller did not do. |

not really true, maybe 4-5 years it will need a service but some people leave theirs longer and only get it serviced when it starts to loose/gain time,Panerai do recommend a service I think it's every 3 years but again thats them being on the safe side and not to mention it gets them more money, they also say 1 year for a waterproof test, again that is being very safe and unless you are diving most days, then with your service should be fine,as for price, the basic models can be serviced at a good watchmakes for around $200 but the inhouse are best sent to Panerai, each model is different but a basic model is around $500 and can go up another few hundred for the top end.I will not be looking to get my Pam serviced for 4-5years and will also leave the waterproof till then too. |
