Looking for a Rolex bracelet
My grandfather gave me his 1950's Rolex date but it is missing a bracelet. I am not sure would would be a good place to buy one from. I have looked around on ebay and most of the bracelets there look fake. I assume buying it from an AD of Rolex would be very expensive. Also if you could give me an approximate idea of how expensive it would be. If anyone has any experience with buying bracelets and could share their views it would be great.
Thanks |

Congratulations on a nice heirloom.......
There were plenty of Rolex watches sold with straps back in the 50's.. Back then you had to pay extra for the bracelet... A modern replacement bracelet would likely cost around 800 bucks and that's getting up close to the value of the watch itself..
