Sub 116610 LN bracelet on a 16610?

Is this possible, has anyone done it yet? It seams like it would be the best of both world...

Pictures if possible.

Thanks

I understand it fits fine, the price for a new styled SS Submariner bracelet is around $1,800/US dollars from an AD.

from memory, the spring bar from the 16610 has to be used with the 116610 Oyster bracelet for the 16610 case...

In that case I wonder if the new spring bars for the 116610 are "beefier" to support the extra weight of the 116610 bracelet...?

No... both the 116610 and the 16610 use 2mm spring bars..

However, the 116610 has pivots that are 1.2mm, while the 16610 has 1mm pivots..

So, yes, the 116610 has larger holes in the lug, therefore they would have greater shear strength........

Using the correct spring-bars, the Glidelock bracelet is a direct bolt-on to the 16610. You will have a slight lip on the backside since the thickness of the end-links is greater.

Both the bracelets have a different style number.
Here is a picture of the old and the new.

I think swapping just the clasp would be a better option.
