Serial/ref for 1987 modells?

I'm looking to buy a wearable GMT/Sub from the year I was born, 1987..
What are the ref/serial numbers That I should be looking for?
Any specifics that the experts could tell me about the watches from this year?

Thanks TRF!

Well 1987 was a R case date stamp that ran into 1988 so hard to pin down to exact 1987.The Sub will be Ref 16800 with the 27 jewel Cal 3035 movement. The GMT if you could get hold of the one they call the fat lady ref 16760 with the cal 3085 both watches excellent. Now GMT ref 16760 was replaced in 1988 with ref 16710 GMT Master 11 which was lighter and a thinner case and was in production till 2009

I know a trusted seller on this forum that had a 16760 fat lady (GMT) as referenced by Padi - PM me if you want his contact info. I bought an 8.6 mil 1985 version (16750) from him and love it.
