I wore my speedy pro every single day for the first 11 years I owned it. It simply never occurred to me to even own another watch.

Don't even get me started on the night I saw my first Speedmaster pro. It was a pre- moon piece, before they were called professionals. I think I bought my own brand new Speedmaster about 3 days later.

Eventually I realized there was some pleasure to be gained from expanding my collection but the speedy pro remains the one watch I will always own.

Its the same for me, I can't take it out of my wrist since it arrived 6 months ago!

It is kind of funny, I was just given one as a gift by a die hard speedy owner. Now I get it, I really get it-how could I have missed this! sure I still love my 5513, daytona etc... but I find I can't stop obsessing over the speedmaster, I am now purchasing a no crown guard 321 pre -moon. I love it best on a Corvus grey Nato or a black gator from an old Breitling. If you don't know you need to Know about this killer watch!!

I have the same problem, Al. I've been wearing my Speedy most of the time since I got it two months ago, giving my GMT IIC and Sub Date a complex.

They really are a very wearable watch Al, I have had mine on for just a week now and cant put it down. I think it's because they have the perfectly balanced black dial with the contrasting white indices and hands as well as perfectly sized sub dials. They also seem to wear very well, not too heavy yet a good size to look at and on top of that, they keep incredibly accurate time, not surprising really that they decided to take them to the moon.
