Submariner 1680/8 with jubilee 18k band
I recently acquired the above watch in pretty good shape, I have been a Rolex collector off and on for over 35 years, hoever, I have never seen the above compination.
What does the forem have to say relative to scarsity and value? |

The jubilee was offered on the GMT, it's certainly possible that one was removed and fitted to the 1680/8. Would love to see a photo of it when you have time!! ![]() |

1680/8 jubilee
Will be happy to post picture soon, I to have never heard of a jubilee on this watch, however, it is an original Rolex 18k hidden clasp jubilee band.

Well myself have never seen a sub with a jubilee, and a old Brochure from 1982 just lists the 16808 as oyster fliplock 92908.And GMT ref 83868 its possible the bracelet was changed sometime in its life,but would doubt it was bought originally like that when new.

My cousin has a 5513 with a period correct authentic jubilee and endpieces. I gotta tell ya, I think it looks good
