Value of Bulova Accutron 218D
Any idea of what this watch is worth?
Inside watch says 218D - Stainless steel Back case has M5 on it Black leather band has a B on it and says Speid on it Doesn't run probably due to battery age Face has 1/2 inch scratch and looks to be a crack on side about 1/4 long |

I recently wrote a post here about an old Accutron I recently aquired. I can't answer all your questions but I can tell you that the M5 is a date code, M means it was manufactured in 1960 and the 5 is the specific year, dating yours to 1965. I don't know the value but you may find some on ebay up for sale that may give you an idea.

Very little value, unfortunately. There is about zero market for watches like yours.

Gold ones sell for about $750
Id imagine a complete set SS $300-450 if you find someone really looking for that particular watch The SpaceView is the Accutron people are after these days.
