Occasionally I search "rolex" in ebay and sort by distance. There is usually not much around me because I am in Alabama. Today I spotted this. 10 miles from me! I doubt this is real. I sent a PM to him asking if I could view the item in person. I'm not a vintage expert. I'll take my macro camera if I get a chance to see it. What exactly should I be looking at. What would you like to see pics of to estimate value. David |

Hi David,
I've been searching for a red sub for a long time and I saw this on ebay too. Something doesn't sit well with me regarding the dial and the serial number he posted. I am by no means an expert, but if I were to refer to the information here: http://doubleredseadweller.com/redsubdialsno2.html then I believe it should have red writing on it. I'm probably wrong, or maybe it was serviced, but that's my take. Pete |
