will using Power Plate affect the accuracy / damage your automatic/manual wind watch?

(serious question) following the below thread thread, i thought i'd ask a separate gym training related for members that cares

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=166779

for those not sure what Power Plate is...

http://www.powerplate.com/

in case you are wondering, yes, i use Power Plate as a part of my training. it is also great for muscle relaxing and warming down after a massive session

i have always worn a G-Shock for my training... so i wouldnt know (hence the question...)

so... what do you think?

it was her that "convinced" me to use the Power Plate... wished she was my trainer (some UK members may recognise her )

When you are training with a power plate so long as the case of your watch does not come in contact with the vertical vibrations you are okay. Power plate states no watches during training but I do train on a power plate with my Rolex on. Did push ups with my palm on the power plate and the Rolex is keeping good time till today +-0 secs. But it is not advisable.

thats what i thought too (common sense really, especially for auto/manual watches). i have seen quite a few people wearing their non digital watches while using the device.
im sure different setting will have different impact... if there are any

The girls sat on the Powerplates don't always look like that at my club!!

I'd say using it would be fine but maybe not for exercises putting your wrist directly near the deck.
