Accuracy of a watch when wearing it on left wrist vs right wrist
I am wondering if someone is wearing a watch on the right wrist (lefty) lose more seconds compared to those who wear it on the left wrist (righty)? As from what I have know, one's watch will be losing more seconds per day with the crown up position. Time to learn from the expert here!

Accuracy of the watch depends on the wearer, right? Lots of wrist movement v not very much? I could be wrong. If that is the case, I don't know if I do more with my right hand or not but maybe it makes a difference over a long period of time.

I was thinking that the watch position ( crown up or crown down while wearing the watch on the left vs right wrist ) will affect the accuracy?

Crown up watch runs slower than crown down.
In terms of accuracy this could go either way depending on your watch. |

Does this means that usually lefty watch run slow while righty run fast? As lefty wear it on the right wrist and always in the crown up position while walking, running or anything ; righty is totally opposite (crown down always).

I was wondering if a tsunami or an earthquake would affect the accuracy?

Does it really matter?
Has anyone actually missed a bus/train/late for a meeting because your said watch has lost a second here and there because it was worn on different wrists? ![]() |

It seems that you are assuming that the person would be standing to order all day long. Normally, arms are moved during the day and if you think about it, your wrists are often in an horizontal (neutral) position.
