Dssd

I have pulled the trigger and finalized a deal on a BNIB DSSD. I should receive on Tuesday. I am 6'4" 268 and think I will enjoy the larger size. On my normal Sub, I have to add 2 extra links to get it to fit properly.
My question is, I have been reading about the glidelock on the DSSD. Should this prevent me from having to purchase additional links for the DSSD? My wrist is very close to 9". Any help would be appreciated.

9"wrist You may have join two braclets together

I would think the AD would help you out with the extra links for proper fitting. You didn't state if you purchased it 'grey' or from an AD.

The service that I have received from the AD in Tuscaloosa was impeccable.

ROLL TIDE

I've got an 8 3/4" wrist and the DS still had plenty of room for me without adding another link. Perhaps it came with more links than usual??

I am afraid I can not help on the bracelet size, but you seems to have the size needed to wear a DSSD!

Congrats!

Make sure to post pictures!

Best,

A

I am getting the watch from a grey dealer, however my local AD is great at helping me size my watches and getting links for me. Just trying to plan ahead and wondering if the extra links are going to be needed. Thanks again.

My educated guess is you'll be OK. I added 1 link to my Gmt IIc.

I tried adding a link to my DSSD and the glide lock could not be shortened enough to fit, so I, obviously, removed it.

Great watch, after 16 months it's still my favorite and would be the last one I'd sell. I wore it today, in fact.

I think I was given the full set of links with mine the other day . The previous owner had 4 links taken out and it still wasn't tight enough for him . ( he did buy the SubC because the Deepsea was a tad on the large side for him )
I only put one back and plenty to play with when using the glide lock .
Even if you need an extra link , I'm pretty sure there will be plenty spare ones around from members here .
