Exchanges are less of a hassle than a watch that stops. I'd prefer and/ or demand an exchange. Did you buy new from an AD?

Gmt
the customary 2 to 3 minuets winding it up right. I bought on line from a jewler I have gone to for years, his suggestion is to wear it for a week keeping an eye on it. this doesn't jive with me it runs great when I don't wear it I sat with it while reading for several hours and it never stopped as soon as I put it one it stops shortly there after, I even had my wife wear it and it stopped on her. what the explative is wrong we are normal people with no extraordinary powers or problems

always easier to get a replacement/repair than to wait outside the "doa" period (if there is one for watches)

![]() If the watch stops while wearing it, there is definitely something wrong.. perhaps a cracked jewel or bent staff that only stops the movement when subjected to certain forces... You need this one repaired..

Possibly a tooth on the calendar wheel is worn down and or the calendar jumper is stuck under the calendar causing it to be stuck. Rik
